Andreia Lima fully qualified as architect in 2001, by the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon University, having spent her last academic year at IUAV Architecture University in Venice, on Erasmus program.

She start working in 2002 at ALLIES AND MORRISON, an award-winning large practice in London, where she stayed for three years and took part of unique projects as Royal Festival Hall Refurbishment. 

In 2005, back in Lisbon, she collaborates with some of the most renowned Portuguese offices like DACIANO DA COSTA, where she experiences architecture as a design tool of every single element of the construction. At RISCO, she gets to work in large residential projects in Luanda, Angola, where she practise her interior design Knowledge working on Interior design Tender Package. 

From 2013 to 2023 she has worked remotely from Portugal to ALAM CREATIVE DESIGN STUDIO, a practise based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where she lead as Senior Design Project Manager both residential, commercial and hospitality projects. For the past 8 years she have led Silver Sands Beach Resort Project from concept Design to handover. 

She now runs her own architecture studio developing private projects and collaborating with other practises either in Portugal as abroad. 

Andreia Lima licenciou-se em Arquitectura em 2001, pela FA.UTL em Lisboa Portugal,  tendo feito Erasmus no seu último ano académico no IUAV em Veneza, Itália. 

Em 2002 iniciou o seu percurso profissional em Londres onde durante três anos colaborou com o atelier ALLIES AND MORRISON. Aí teve a oportunidade de participar em projetos únicos como a renovação do Royal Festival Hall. 

Em 2005 de regresso a Lisboa, colabora com prestigiados escritórios Portugueses tais como o atelier DACIANO DA COSTA, onde experimenta a prática da arquitectura enquanto ferramenta de desenho de  nível do Design de Interiores, também com o atelier RISCO, onde colabora em projectos residenciais de luxo em Luanda Angola, onde pode praticar o seu conhecimento em Design de Interiores a trabalhar no projecto de execução de interiores.  

De 2013 a 2023, colaborou remotamente com ALAM CREATIVE STUDIO, atelier sediado em Jedá na Arábia Saudita, onde liderou como Arquitecta Sénior, vários projectos residenciais, comerciais e turísticos. Tendo nos oito últimos anos, liderado o projecto "Silver Sands Beach Resort" da fase conceptual até à finalização da obra.  

Actualmente estabeleceu o seu próprio atelier desenvolvendo projectos para privados e colaborando com outros atelier, quer em Portugal quer fora.
